Cox's Bazar is a town, a fishing place and District headquarters in Bangladesh. Every year many people visit this place. The beach in Cox's Bazar is an unbroken 125 km sandy sea beach with a gentle slope, one of the world's longest. It is located 150 km south of the industrial port of Chitagong. Chitagong is also famous place.Cox's Bazar is also known by the name Panowa, whose literal translation means "yellow flower." Itis also called "Palongkee". The name Cox's Bazar comes from from Captain Hiram Cox (died 1799), was an officer of the British East India Company. Cox was appointed Superintendent of Palongkee outpost after Warren  Hastings became Govern of Benglal. Captain Cox was specially mobilised to deal with a century-long conflict between Arakan refugees and local Rakhains. He embarked upon the task of rehabilitating refugees in the area and made significant progress. Captain Cox died in 1799 before he could finish his work. To commemorate his role in rehabilitation work, a market was established and named Cox's Bazar ("Cox's Market") after him.
Today, Cox's Bazar is one of the most-visited tourist destinations in Bangladesh, though it is not a major international tourist destination. In 2013, the Bangladesh Government formed the Tourist Police unit to better protect local and foreign tourists, as well as to look after the nature and wildlife in the tourist spots of Cox's Bazar.

The mangrove forest in Bangladesh

 You may have heard the name of #Sundarbans, located at the mouth of the Ganges river, is the largest river delta in the world and the largest estuarine mangrove forest in the world.The UNESCO has announced  World Heritage site, the Sundarbans is area of 4624 sq/km in India, and is home to a wide range of birds, reptile and invertebrate species. A national park, a tiger reserve and a biosphere reserve in India; the Sunderbans provides habitat to different species of crabs, fishes, shrimps and fauna.We should love Sundarban very much as  a part of our body. It helps me from many natural disaster.It is our good friend.It is the most famous mangrove  of the world. Many kinds of trees are got here.For example Sundury, Geya, Goran,Thondol, Shal etc.The atomic electric center, setting up near the Sundarban is not suitable place.
